Snorkelling is an excellent way to experience the spectacular aquatic life on the Great Barrier Reef. Guests can enjoy the experience of snorkelling from the sandy cay or from the back of the vessel amongst colourful shoals of Spangled Emperor, Sargeant Majors and Yellowtail Fusiliers. Those adventurous enough to dive down through the clear waters can interact with the many different species of sea cucumbers, star fish and giant clams on the reef floor.

COMPLIMENTARY SNORKELLING
Guests arrive at the Great Barrier Reef on Quick Cat and anchor at Beaver Cay Marine Sanctury, a pristine white sand cay surrounded by shallow water - ideal for inexperienced swimmers, snorkellers and children. Whilst at Beaver Cay guests are offered the option of complimentary snorkelling equipment and instruction and a tour in the glass bottom boat.

GUIDED SNORKELLING TOURS
We also offer the option of a guided snorkelling tour with equipment and instruction included. Guests may choose this excellent way to experience snorkelling for the first time or alternatively to further their knowledge of the reef environment. Snorkellers are taken from the back of the boat with a trained staff member and can rest on a flotation device whilst their guide explains the diverse reef life below and dives down to bring up marine creatures for a more intimate interaction.

$15 per person

Optical Masks and Wetsuits (for kids to extra large adults) are also available for hire on board the vessel.
